Rosa Jalbert 'Our Hammond Boy'

('productnameshort')

'Our Hammond Boy' is a 2024 Jalbert intro with classic hybrid tea rose buds and young flowers becoming gorgeously ruffled.

Description:
'Our Hammond Boy' is a 2024 introduction from Brad Jalbert offering two very distinct looks as the flowers age. The buds and early blooms are a mix of soft, enchanting colours including cream, soft yellow, and apricot to pink with an exquisite hybrid tea form. Once fully opened the petals become very frilly taking on warm buttery yellow tones with white outer petals sure to please those who love English style roses. The flowers have a light tea fragrance. Cool weather will encourage softer colours whereas high temperatures bring out bolder yellows. The waves of bloom production are outstanding on nearly thornless stems perfect for cutting. Upright and strong-growing to about 3.5 feet with very healthy foliage. Named in memory of a wonderful father by his son, Brent. Canadian breeder Brad Jalbert of Select Roses is world-renowned for his beautiful, floriferous, and highly disease resistant roses. Bred in coastal BC, they are perfect for our west coast climate but also do remarkably well in diverse regions.
