Citrus-Kumquat-Fortunella crassifolia 'Meiwa' - 1 gallon

('productnameshort')

Fortunella 'Meiwa' produces large crops of oval, bright orange-yellow kumquat fruits that you eat whole, skin and all.

Description:
Kumquats are not a well known citrus in North America yet they produce delicious, small, egg-shaped fruits 1-2 inches long that have a thin rind and are eaten whole, skin and all. The rind has a sweet/tart flavour and the flesh is sweet giving an overall refreshing and thirst quenching experience. Fortunella 'Meiwa' produces large crops of fruit more sweet and rounded than 'Nagami'. Plants are quite ornamental grown as an open shrub or trimmed to keep tight. All of our citrus are grafted onto C-35 citrange, trifoliate orange, or other semi-dwarfing rootstock which confer good hardiness and production while reducing overall tree size.
