'Mystery Day' is a decorative Dahlia with spectacular, dark and luscious, 6-8 inch wide fully double flowers in purple, burgundy, and magenta with white tips on strong 3-4 foot stems. Flowers hold up even in rain. A prolific bloomer from summer to frost. Fantastic in the border and as a cut flower. Dahlia are hardy to coastal BC's winter temperatures but not to winter wet. Protect from rain in free-draining soils, plant in pots that can be moved and protected, or lift and store in a cool, dry, frost free location. Pollinator attractor. Moderately deer resistant.
