Pelargonium crispum 'Lemona' is a tender, lemon-scented geranium with pink and magenta flowers that are both ornamental and edible.
Description:
Pelargonium crispum 'Lemona' is similar in fragrance to 'Citronella' and can also be used to repel mosquitoes from patio, balcony, and garden. The crinkled, evergreen foliage has a lovely lemon scent. It is topped with small, single pink flowers highlighted with dark magenta veining on the upper petals all summer long. Use the foliage as a culinary herb to add a delicate and delicious lemon flavour to any dish and the fresh flowers as a garnish on plates, in drinks, and in salads. Plants will grow up to 24 inches tall and wide. Excellent in containers where you can brush past them and as a houseplant. Plants are long-lived if protected over winter or treat as an annual. Deer resistant. Popular with bees and will also draw butterflies and hummingbirds.
