Eupatorium maculatum 'Gateway' is a Joe-Pye weed with late-blooming, large, mauve-pink flowers.


Description:
Eupatorium maculatum 'Gateway' from the Atropurpureum Group is an outstanding, long-flowering, late-blooming Joe-Pye weed. It offers a more compact, shorter and bushier form with tighter and thicker, 8 inch wide, corymb-like panicle flower heads of mauve-pink. Fragrant too! It will grow to 4-6 feet in height with a 2-3 foot spread. Low maintenance and trouble-free. Great in the middle to back of the border and in naturalistic or meadow plantings providing height and long bloom. Pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
