Aruncus 'Fairy Hair', commonly known as goat's beard, is a super hardy and whimsical perennial that produces Astilbe-like flowers and foliage. The sprays of creamy-white flowers bloom on 20 to 24 inch tall stems rising above needle-like, highly dissected and attractive foliage. Plant in part shade/part sun in average to moist soils. Somewhat tolerant of dry soils. Bulks up slowly in the first couple years before flower displays take off. Use in containers, borders, mass plantings, woodland gardens, and the vase. Bee friendly. Deer resistant.
