Pseudorhipsalis (syn. Wittia) amazonica is a rare epiphytic cactus with cool tubular magenta flowers with purple/blue tips.


Description:
Pseudorhipsalis (syn. Wittia) amazonica is an intriguing and rare epiphytic cactus that grows like an orchid cactus (Epiphyllum) but with cool tubular magenta flowers with purple tips that turn to blue. It hails from Central America to the Amazon. It typically blooms in late spring and summer with the boldest blue tips later in the season with summer heart. Grow as a houseplant in the cold months and as an outdoor patio plant in the summer in bright indirect light or part shade/part sun. Easy to grow and bloom.
