Named in honor of the Samaritan volunteer workers, Clematis 'Samaritan Jo' has unique single to semi-double flowers with sharply pointed sepals in white to silvery pink edged in purple with dark purple anthers tipped in yellow. Grows to 4-5 feet tall and blooms from early summer to mid-autumn. Ideal in the garden or on the patio. Pruning group B. Raymond Evison is the world's most famous Clematis breeder producing superior and distinctive cultivars with long bloom periods, excellent disease resistance, and bold colours. Use them on trellises and pergolas, grow them into shrubs, or use them as ground covers.
