Description:
Parrot type tulips are characterized by variable petals with contortions and fringing that resembles ruffled feathers. Tulipa 'Mysterious Parrot' offers unique shades of bluish purple, grape purple, magenta, lavender, and white with hints of green. Hybrid tulips can persist in the garden for many years. Afterall, they rebloom each year in the fields of the Netherlands. Provide full sun where bulbs aren't shaded by other plants, fertilize with bulb food as soon as they emerge in spring, and allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering.
