Description:
'Flying Solo' has pale dusky pink standards and falls with hints of apricot with rusty orange beards. Blooms in the late season on 26 inch stems. Light sweet fragrance. The intermediate bearded iris (IB) are hybrids that look just like the classic tall bearded iris just at two thirds the height. Use them at the front or mid border, along pathways, and in rockeries in full sun in average to dry situations. Divide every two to three years (or when clumps become congested and flowering decreases) just after blooming. Trim the foliage back to a third and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level. Deer and rabbit resistant.
