Echinops sphaerocephalus 'Arctic Glow' has spiny grey-green leaves and intriguing, spherical, silver-grey flower heads of white flowers on branched grey to reddish stems in mid to late summer. The flowers begin to open at the top of the sphere gradually opening until the entire inflorescence is in bloom. The bees and butterflies will go mad for them! Provide consistent moisture. Can re-seed lightly in the garden.
