Description:
Grevillea victoriae, the royal grevillea, is an intriguing evergreen shrub from the family that brings us proteas and banksias. It is a high elevation species from Australia that blooms in winter in coastal BC with orange-red clusters of tubular flowers that are a magnet for Anna's hummingbirds. Plant in a warm sunny spot of your garden in well-drained soil. Protect from drying or cold winter winds.
