Sarracenia leoucophylla ‘Tarnok’ is similar to the species with tall relatively narrow green pitchers that are boldly white around the pitcher opening accented with stunning red veins. The dusky red flowers of this cultivar are magnificent and fully double. Species leucophylla is famous for its ability to gobble up even large bees and wasps -- an excellent trait if you have little boys in your life (and sometimes little girls) or husbands that need to be entertained as you drag them around the nursery.
