Description:
This evergreen plumbago shrub hails from the Himalayas and offers a low mound of foliage to about three feet high with a greater spread. In late summer the plants are covered with bright purplish blue flowers held in clusters at the ends of the branches. The leaves are dull green, thick textured and have purple margins. Tolerant of poor soils. Blooms on new wood so if you need to prune it do so in late winter to allow for flowers the next summer.
