Description:
Ornamental onions offer intriguing spherical or egg-shaped inflorescences comprised of hundreds of tiny flowers. 'White Giant' is a cultivar of Allium karataviense, the Turkestan onion, with broad, bluish-green leaves topped with large, 6 - 8 inch wide, pure white spheres. Foliage stays lush during the flowering period. Ideal as an accent plant for the front border, in containers and in the cutting garden. Pollinator and hummingbird attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
