'China Purple' is an excellent selection of the woody Clematis heracleifolia with stunning dark blue-purple flowers instead of the typical light blue flowers. The upright, non-twining growth reaches 30 inches high in early summer topped with masses of terminal and axillary flowers. Great in the border.
