Description:
Centaurea montana ‘Amethyst in Snow’ is a white flowered form of the classic perennial bachelor’s button. Ornamental buds with pineapple-like scales burst into flower with silky, pure white petals that radiate in a starburst from deep royal purple centres. The plants are sturdy with greyish green leaves with a slight silvery cast. Tolerant of dry soil once established. Cut back to encourage rebloom.
