Description:
Eremurus stenophyllus (syn. E. bungei) has dramatic spires of dark yellow that rise to five feet or more from an octopus-like base of narrow strap-like leaves in early summer. Plant in a dry yet rich soil in a sunny location and do not allow other perennials to overgrow the foliage. From Turkestan. Extra large bulbs.
