Ceanothus griseus var. horizontalis 'Diamond Heights' is a low-growing, densely spreading California lilac that makes a fine rock garden or ground cover specimen especially for exposed sites. The foliage is chartreuse in shadier conditions to bright gold in full sun with irregular, dark green, central markings. The flowers are pale blue and lightly fragrant.
