Description:
Epipactis thunbergii is a vigorous terrestrial orchid from Japan and the colder parts of northeastern Asia that thrives in moist but well-drained soils in light shade or morning sun. Showy orange-yellow flowers with pink markings in summer on two foot tall plants. A good streamside plant and easy when established. Forms large colonies when settled in.
