Rhodoendron sinogrande has the largest leaves of any rhododendron which can be three feet long and one foot wide. Wow! Also spectacular is that the new foliage emerges copper red and shiny as if made of metal. The flowers are creamy yellow with a red central blotch. Grows to six feet in 10 years. Protect from winter cold snaps and do not plant in windy areas! From India, Burma and China. Photo borrowed from: http://www.hirsutum.info/rhododendron/species/detail.php?id=473
