Cypripedium 'Mem. Shawna Austin'

('productnameshort')

About as close to true red as you can get in hybrid lady's slipper orchids, Cypripedium 'Memoriam Shawna Austin' is downright luscious.

Description:
The intensely coloured near-red to magenta slippers of Cypripedium 'Memoriam Shawna Austin' are streaked with white veins and backed by near-red sepals. This is one of the boldest and richest coloured of all hybrid lady's slippers. A hybrid between C. macranthos var. hotei-atsumorianum and C. calceolus which is much easier to grow in the garden than its parents. Grown from seed. Plants will resemble the image but may not be identical. Lady's slipper hybrids are much more vigorous and easy to grow than species. Well cared for clumps can double their flowering stems ever year! Blooming size.
