A great alternative to the standard Pachysandra terminalis , P. procumbens also has fragrant flowers and more attractive foliage.


Description:
Pachysandra procumbens has fragrant, white flower spikes in spring, later becoming camouflaged by a new flush of gorgeous, crisp green foliage. Leaves have a scalloped margin and take on an attractive pale silver mottling. A wonderful low-growing perennial ground cover native to the southeastern US. Herbaceous from zone 6 down but semi-evergreen to evergreen in zones 7-9.
