Yucca desmetiana 'Blue Boy' is a stunning structural addition to the garden or patio with upright stems of sword-shaped, pointed, arching, blue-green leaves that develop bold shades of burgundy purple in full sun and in cold temperatures. Use as a dramatic, subtropical focal point where ever you need it in the garden. Needs a protected situation out of winter rains in coastal BC and protection from severe cold snaps or to be grown in containers and protected above freezing or as a houseplant or greenhouse plant.
