Allium 'Summer Drummer' is one of the tallest of all ornamental onions with soaring stems reaching up to six feet high. The fragrant, lavender-purple, tightly-packed flower heads are about four inches across and will soar above the sunny border rising up through early summer perennials. Possibly hardy to zone 3.
