It was only a matter of time before someone developed intriguing variations on the popular Japanese painted fern. The young leaves of this great new fern are a stunning purple-pink with silver stripes along the veins and tips. As the leaves mature, they transform into a contrasting silvery green with purple midribs. Forms a truly dazzling clump in the woodland garden. Evenly moist well-drained soil.
