Description:
Diervilla rivularis Honeybee 'Diwibru01' is a beautiful, super hardy shrub with brilliant gold to chartreuse green, lance shaped leaves and terminal clusters of small, tubular yellow flowers in summer that are popular with bees and butterflies. It is related to the honeysuckles, Lonicera, but is not fragrant. It will grow to about three feet high and wide and can spread via rhizomes but is not invasive. Good fall color. Great in shrub borders, in mass plantings, and containers. Tolerant of drought but provide afternoon shade.
