Asclepias tuberosa 'Hello Yellow' is a very long-lived Eastern North American Butterfly milkweed. Brilliant, yellow flowered umbels bloom on strong stems above its dark green, lance-shaped foliage. Blooms all summer long followed by attractive seed pods. Deadheading stimulates more blooming cycles. Growth habit is 24 inches tall and wide. Blooms are a nectar-rich source for Monarch butterflies and other species as well. Full sun, dry soil. Late to emerge in spring so be patient. Hummingbird and pollinator attractor. Deer resistant.
