Pachysandra terminalis 'Green Sheen' forms whorls of glossy, leathery foliage topped with white flowers in spring. Japanese spurge is one of the toughest and most useful evergreen groundcovers for most North American climate zones. Plants are slow to establish but eventually will spread by underground rhizomes into a dense, attractive, impervious carpet.
