Tree peonies are woody shrubs that produce large, gorgeous flowers in spring in a much wider range of colours than the herbaceous garden peonies. 'Hana-kisoi' ('Floral Rivalry') has fragrant, light pink flowers with deep pink surrounding the golden stamens. Great in the sunny perennial border and as cut flowers. Pollinator attractor.
