Phlomis cashmeriana or Kashmir sage is an intriguing, stately, architectural perennial with large, felted, grey-green leaves with silvery undersides and tall upright spikes on reddish, square stems to three feet high with evenly-spaced whorls of beautiful, fuzzy, lavender pink, snapdragon-like flowers. Tolerant of heat and drought and a wide range of soil types including clay. Evergreen in mild climates.
