Asarum arifolium is a wild ginger from the US southeast with broadly arrow-shaped, anise-scented, deep green leaves with silver marbling. In spring, strange brownish purple, urn shaped flowers emerge clustered amongst the foliage. Easy to grow in a woodland setting or in containers. Possible hardy to zone 4.
