Eucalyptus pauciflora, commonly known as Snow Gum is one of the hardiest of this genus reaching 25 to 40 feet tall.


Description:
Snow gum is one of the hardiest of eucalyptus species and can survive -23 degrees Celsius. It grows into the subalpine at high elevation in the Alps of eastern Australia. Trees from seed collected at high elevation will be the hardiest. Snow gum is a fast-growing tree with attractive peeling bark and long, narrow, grey-green foliage. Plant in full sun with good drainage, especially in winter.
