Rodgersia podophylla 'Bloody Wheels' is a Japanese selection with stunning foliage that emerges bright, boisterous red deepening to bronze with sharply serrated edges which hold their colour through the early season becoming dark green by midsummer. It has Astilbe-like, white flowers held high above the foliage. Forms big, bold, textural clumps.
