Bury the stem 4-6 inches deep when planting to enhance hardiness. The spectacular blooms have lavender-purple, reflexed tepals with thin deeper purple corona filaments and light fragrance. They measure nearly five inches across (12.5 cm). 'Justine Lyons' is an improvement over 'Amethyst'/'Lavender Lady' with larger flowers and better vigour.
