Marrubium rotundifolium is a dramatic groundcover for hot spots with felted silver-green leaves edged in silver-white.
Description:
A dramatic, evergreen foliage groundcover for hot, sunny spots in poor soils, Marrubium rotundifolium has felted silver-green to grey-green leaves that are silver-white beneath. The felted white undersides curl up around the edges so from above the effect is of grey-green leaves illuminated with a white edge. Insignificant white flowers are produced in clusters like its relative Phlomis but these can be sheared off to maintain focus on the foliage. Plant in front of Penstemon, Agastache, and Gaura.
