Stylophorum lasiocarpum is a Chinese species with bright yellow poppy-like flowers that bloom from mid spring to September atop mounds of very cool dissected foliage. Will self-seed lightly around the garden. The flower stems contain bright yellow sap, the leaves contain bright orange sap, and the roots contain bright red sap. Very cool to show your gardening friends but no testing this description before you've purchased your own plants!
