Calochortus 'Cupido' is a lovely little flower named for a butterfly, offering cup shaped, violet pink blossoms in June.


Description:
Calochortus means "beautiful grass" in Greek while the mariposa of its common name means butterfly. Mostly native to California, Calochortus enjoy moist winters and dry summers. 'Cupido' has delicate cup-shaped, violet-pink flowers held on strong but wiry stems. Grow them through low groundcovers at the front of the border or in the rock garden.
