Description:
Lilium henryi has long lasting flowers in orange with maroon spotting and recurved petals. The flower stalks grow about four feet tall in the wild but may be more than 7 feet in cultivation. It is well suited to deciduous woodland conditions as the bulbs need good moisture year round. A parent to many important hybrids. The bulbs are edible for humans, but lilies are highly toxic to cats.
