Oenothera 'Silver Blade' is a stunning evening primrose with huge, lemon yellow flowers for months atop silver-blue foliage.

Oenothera macrocarpa ssp. incana 'Silver Blade' is a stunning evening primrose with huge, lemon yellow flowers four inches across on red stems from spring until fall, either constantly or in waves. Deadhead to encourage more flowers. Foliage is lance-shaped, rippled, silver-blue to blue-green contrasting beautifully with the flowers. It will form a lush yet drought tolerant groundcovering mat perfect for lean, gritty soils in rock gardens, gravel gardens, along driveways, on banks, trailing over walls or in other xeriscapes or in containers. Easy to grow. Shear down in fall or early spring.
