Penstemon davidsonii is a lovely little native beard tongue with lavender pink flowers overlain with an iridescent blue. Foliage is evergreen with serrated edges resembling little holly leaves. Great for the front of the border in full sun and in well-drained soils. Also great in rock gardens. Popular with bees and hummingbirds.
