Agave multifilifera is related to A. filifera and also has chalky white markings on the leaves but with more curling white hairs on the leaf edges forming impressive rosettes. It forms medium-sized to large rosettes up to 3 feet tall and wide. It hails from the Mexican states of Chihuahua, Durango, and Sinaloa at high elevations.
