Description:
Baptisia Decadence 'Dark Chocolate' has large, deepest purple, almost black, flower spires with golden yellow keels to 3-4 feet tall. Baptisia are long-lived, will thrive with little maintenance and adapt to soils that range from dry to marginal, but dislike being moved once established. Potential design options include meadow plantings, as a backdrop in borders, or as a specimen. Choose a place well and they will grow into vase-shaped anchor plant that even helps feed your garden.
