Tulipa 'Inner Wheel' is a modern Rembrandt tulip introduced in 2008 bred to be very much in the style of the old broken tulips. It has stunning flowers feathered with carmine red and hints of violet on a white background. You can see a picture in our article "The Beauty and History of Broken Tulips" on our main website. The interiors (pictured) are even more intricate and amazing. Large hybrid tulips can be maintained in the garden if given a sunny location with rich soil and slow release fertilizer when in growth.
