Description:
'New Madrid Blue Improved' is a gracefully compact, free-flowering Lavandula stoechas that is well-branched with nice green foliage. It has short spikes of small bluish purple flowers with unique ivory white sterile bracts which look like wings fluttering above the flower clusters. Spanish lavender is less hardy than the English lavenders but begins to bloom very early in the season and can keep on blooming for months.
