Clivia gardenii forms clumps of dark green, strap-like foliage and beautiful clusters of slender, tubular flowers with orange petals tipped with green.
Description:
Clivia gardenii is a relative of the well known Clivia miniata which has been a favourite of plantlovers since Victorian times. The dark green, strap-like foliage shows off the beautiful clusters of slender, tubular flowers in late spring or summer. The petals are orange tipped with green. The resulting fruit lasts for two years, first green then brilliant red which is fantastic against the foliage especially at Christmas time. Minimum two degrees Celsius. Photo: Wikipedia
